A good Chiropractor is like a good friend – they always have your back!

With everyone online these days, it can be difficult to narrow down your options. There are hundreds of Chiropractors in London, ON alone. In this blog, we have highlighted some ways that you can find the best Chiropractor for you!

#1. Google Chiropractors Near You:

Sometimes location makes all the difference! Try Googling the Chiropractors that are close to your home or close to work. Our office stays open during most business lunch hours to accommodate our patient’s busy schedules. A little convenience can go a long way whether you’re experiencing pain or have a busy lifestyle.

#2. Get Referrals:

Talk to your friends and family. Do you know anyone that is currently seeing a Chiropractor that they love? Or maybe they are seeing a Chiropractor they don’t connect with and have some pointers on what you should look for. Many of our new patients have come from long-time patients of our referring friends and family.

#3. Check their Reviews:

Look into their reviews once you have found a Chiropractor in a convenient location. For instance, our clinic has reviews available for Campbell Chiropractic Centre and each individual practitioner employed here. The reviews can give you a really good insight into what to expect from the clinic environment, your Chiropractor, and the type of adjustment you will receive.

#4. Research Their Credentials

Chiropractors must be licensed in Ontario. There are governing bodies such as the Ontario Chiropractic Association and the College of Chiropractors of Ontario. Both websites provide important information on Chiropractic Care and Chiropractors in Ontario that maintain good standing with the colleges. For example, Campbell Chiropractic Centre’s owner, Dr. Michelle Campbell, won the 2022 Patient Care Award for the OCA (Ontario Chiropractic Association). The Patient Care Award recognizes a chiropractor, clinic or organization that has excelled in providing exceptional patient experiences by delivering care that reflects patients’ preferences and has incorporated diversity, equity, and inclusion in their practice.

#5. Consider the Experience of the Chiropractor

How many years have they been a Doctor of Chiropractic Care? What courses have they taken? How many years has the practice been in business? These are all really good questions to ask to make sure that you are going to receive the specific care that you need.

For example, Dr. Michelle Campbell has been practicing for 15 years. She received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo in 2004. Dr. Michelle then graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2008. Since then, she has continued her education in areas such as Diplomate in Pediatrics and Pregnancy. Dr. Campbell’s techniques include full spinal adjustments (Diversified and Thompson), myofascial release, nutrition and exercise prescription, low force and specific activator technique and custom orthotics.

This list of credentials and experience should be listed on the Chiropractors’ website or that of their practice. If there is anything you need help finding online, you can always call the practice and enquire.
